Palazzo Giannuzzi - Bottari - Carissimo

Among the aristocratic buildings in the town of Francavilla Fontana, you can admire Palazzo Giannuzzi - Bottari - Carissimo, which was owned by several Francavilla families since 1727. You can stop and admire the façade, which is remarkable for the fusion of late Renaissance decorative elements that enliven the front of the buildings with extreme elegance. Perhaps you will be more fascinated by the robust triangular corbels that support the long horizontal balcony of the façade.
The combination of architectural elements and ornamental motifs is completed by the caryatids, half-length decorative figures typical of the late Renaissance, which play the fundamental role of supporting part of the building. Their presence, on the side of the entrance door, welcomes the visitor to the interior of the building. Passing through the entrance arch, you reach the main hall, which leads to a delightful garden, now considerably reduced due to the modernisation work that the palace has undergone over the years.
