It is surrounded by a lush natural environment of pines and oaks; in fact the term 'viscigli' refers to a type of oak formerly known as 'viscigghiu'. It is a neoclassical building, dating from 1590, which has been restored to its original elegant form. The Masseria is part of a larger group of historic buildings, including an ancient dovecote tower accessible by an internal staircase. Immersed in the beauty of the place, you can enjoy a wide selection of local dishes mixed with innovative culinary experiments that will conquer your palate. Recommended dishes in this evocative setting include Cavatelli with crispy capocollo, tomato velouté and fresh ricotta; Orecchiette with speck and cardoncelli mushrooms scented with thyme; cereals risotto and pumpkin cream, mixed mushrooms and drops of Negroamaro wine.
